There are two ways Excel shows row heights and column widths:
In the normal view, it's in points and pixels
In the page layout view, it switches to centimeters pixel
Now, let's keep it simple. Points, centimeters, and pixels are like friends with a special connection:
100 pixels ≈ 2.12 cm ≈ 60 points
But how do you make those rows and columns behave?
Use your mouse to drag and adjust.
Right-click on a row, type in the height.
Or go to Home, Cells, Format, and Row Height.
another tip, what about changing things in the page layout view?
Go to File, More Options, Advanced Display, and Display Units. Choose what you like – default, inches, centimeters, or millimeters.
And there you have it! The mystery of Excel's row heights and column widths. If this made sense to you, give us a thumbs up and consider subscribing. Happy Excel-ing, everyone!"
